HOW IT WORKS
Make sure you start by booking a table, booking is essential on busy days!
Choose a piece to paint from our huge selection of bisque pottery. we always have lots to pick from but if you have a project in mind you might want to get in touch to make sure we have it in stock! Our pieces are priced individually and the price includes painting, glazing and firing. Prices range from £10-£60.
Get painting! Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will show you all the top tips to get the best out of your piece! We will show you where all our little extras are, such as stamps and pens and let you know how they all work.
Order up! Indulge in our delicious offering of coffees, teas, smoothies, milkshakes, cakes and cold drinks. Perfect for celebrating a special event with us!
When you have finished your masterpiece, you can leave the rest up to us! We give you a date for collection, we then glaze and fire your piece and you will have a month to come and pick it up!
Sometimes... very rarely, but sometimes, the kiln can cause a few issues with your pieces. Kiln dust, glaze expanding and fusing to another piece... lots can go wrong, if it does we will gift a £5 damage voucher. If the issue is our fault, then we can refund you.
GOOD TO KNOW
PRICE
Our pottery stock is always changing, for this reason we do not have a set price list. Our pieces always range from £10-£60. There are some sessions that have a studio or booking fee. This info can be found on the booking page.
RETURN PAINTERS
If you do not finish your piece during your session, we can store it for you and you can return up to 3 times depending on the piece. There will be a £5 fee each time you return. We will give you a ticket with a date to return by, if you do not let us know you can’t make it back, we may dispose of your piece to make room for others returning.
OPENING HOURS
Our regular opening hours are Thursday to Saturday 10-3:30, Sundays 10-2:30. We are a very small family team and sometimes we will be closed during these hours. Social media and google will be updated if this is the case!
PARKING
Langport boasts a huge free public carpark. It is situated right in the centre of the town and just behind our building. Use the postcode below or search on google for Parrett Close Car Park Langport TA10 9PD.
POSTAGE
We can post your pieces out to you if you are not able to collect from us, The price for postage will vary depending on the size of the pieces painted on the day, starting at £9.79. We wrap them very carefully but cannot take responsibility for any damage during transit.
DOGS
Dogs + pottery + busy environment, don't mix well. If you are planning on brining along an anxious dog, please rethink as our space can get rather hectic. We welcome dogs if they are small and super well behaved. Assistance dogs are welcome!
ACCESSIBILITY
Our space is a space for everyone. We have room for wheelchair users to paint comfortably, accessible toilets and baby change facilities. If you are visiting as a support worker, please include everyone arriving in the booking so even non- painters have a seat.
REFRESHMENTS
We are not a cafe, we are a pottery-painting-cafe! We do not have a separate cafe area for people to sit whilst others paint. All visitors will need to be included in the booking, and ideally painting! We have a range of amazing homemade cakes, GF and V available but once they are gone they are gone!
GIFT
VOUCHERS
We sell physical gift vouchers in store. Vouchers are redeemable on anything we sell and can be topped up again and again!
COLLECTION
We fire and then wrap up your pieces for you. They are usually ready within 10 days but this can be longer during holidays. We are open Thursday to Sunday for collections and you have a month to come and grab them! Your pieces will be under the name of the original booking.
SESSION TIMES
Booking is essential as we run sessions. If you are a little late for your session, not to worry! We will keep your table for 15 mins, please let us know if you will be later or you may incur a no-show fee of £10. If you make it but are late, the session will still run to time as we will have other painters arriving after you.
BRINGING BABIES?
Let us know in your client notes when booking if you are bringing babies requiring space for a pram or if you need a highchair reserved - we only have a few!
